Maxwell was incredibly responsive to the small issues that popped up (refills for the filtration unit). Spot is an easy walk to the beach and easy drive to lots of restaurants and attractions

Maxwell was a very responsive host. We initially had a problem with the A/C in the living area not working. He made arrangements to have it repaired. We did advise him of a few things that were broken so he would not think that we did the damage, so be aware to do the same if you see anything. I would recommend to Maxwell to have a few more amenities for convenience to guests, such as having a toaster so if you wanted to make a quick bite early in the morning before heading out, you could do so. It would be nice to have tissues in the house as well. There was really no place to hang our wet bathing suits and towels, so maybe an outside line or something would be nice. Not many hooks in the bathroom or anywhere other than the front door. I would also say that more than 1 wine glass would have been nice. I do have to say that the place was clean, and he was responsive in anything we had to ask him or tell him about.

We just stayed at Maxwells place over the 4th of July weekend - it’s at a great location if you want a beach day, you can walk down to Glendon Rd Beach - across the street is the Sailing Cow Cafe, watched the fireworks basically in every direction we faced. We had a great time! But before you book and decide to stay, there are few things you should know. The listing shows an AC condenser assuming the place has central air. When we arrived there was no AC condenser in the backyard - instead there were 2 types of ACs in the living room. One was a window AC that was directly behind the TV, and then a portable AC that was right next to the other AC. It was poorly circulated and the bedroom was hot. Luckily we brought our own fans so we managed. One other thing I wanted to mention is the backyard. It has accurate pictures with the outdoor shower / wooden benches but the patio had weeds everywhere and was extremely overgrown. Other than those few things, the location is great!

Lovely stay at Maxwell’s house. Great proximity to the beach! The amenities like the outdoor shower and fans/ AC were great to have.
